Free tech training for Wisconsin job seekers includes lessons on Microsoft, LinkedIn, GitHub, referrals to employers

GREEN BAY - A Madison-based organization will offer free virtual job training in August to Wisconsin residents seeking work and then connect participants to hiring companies.

The organization, gener8tor, says it is starting the program specifically to help job-seekers improve their technology skills.

Those who complete the program will earn a certification. New North, a regional partner to the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. serving 18 counties in northeastern Wisconsin, will connect certificate-holders to local companies hiring.
