Health care developer plans to build $20 million outpatient medical facility in Appleton


APPLETON - A Wisconsin health care developer intends to construct a $20 million outpatient medical facility in Appleton`s Northeast Business Park.

Luther Group of Elm Grove didn`t identify the occupant of the two-story, 40,000-square-foot building in documents submitted to the city. It is requesting a waiver from the city regarding repurchase rights and a variance for street access.

"They are repping a medical entity," said Karen Harkness, Appleton`s director of community and economic development. "We do not know who that is. That`s fine. We don`t need to know who it is."
