![]() WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WSAW) -- Local events took place all across the state this morning as area leaders and legislators celebrated the second annual Wisconsin main street day. Representatives from the Wisconsin economic development corporation or WEDC met up at the old Wisconsin Rapids mall to take place in the event. Speakers including Wisconsin Senator Patrick Testin and WEDC Secretary and COO, Tricia Braun, helped to spotlight the important role that downtown business districts have in Wisconsin`s economy.
