![]() ASHWAUBENON - A land purchase that is key to expanding the Port of Green Bay and relocating the coal piles will have to wait until next month. The Brown County Board of Supervisors was expected to vote tonight on whether to buy a 40-acre portion of the former Pulliam Power Plant property, at the mouth of the Fox River, from Wisconsin Public Service Corp. Instead, the board will consider an application for a state grant that must be in place before the board can authorize the county`s purchase of the land. The Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. announced two weeks ago that it had approved the county for a $500,000 Idle Sites Grant to help with the purchase.
