Possible development at American Family Field could help finance stadium renovations, Brewers exec says. But it`s a long way from reality.

A possible mixed-use commercial development on a portion of American Family Field`s parking lots could help finance the stadium`s long-term renovations.

But that conceptual idea — part of a new Milwaukee County Board proposal — is a long way from reality, a Brewers executive said Tuesday.

"Could the real estate here be part of a solution? Sure," said Rick Schlesinger, Brewers president of baseball operations.

"Do I know what it will look like? I do not," he added.
