Milwaukee Regional Medical Center sees nearly $800 million in new developments. Their impact is felt throughout Wisconsin.

It was roughly 20 years ago that Milwaukee Regional Medical Center began seeing an upswing in development, says Wauwatosa Mayor Dennis McBride.

Now, the center`s institutions — including Medical College of Wisconsin, Froedtert Hospital and Children`s Wisconsin — are growing so much that the center is planning a major road extension and adding a stop on a new rapid bus line to help accommodate the increasing number of employees, students and patients.
