Wisconsin spent more of its pandemic relief money on business support than any other state


Wisconsin devoted a higher share of its federal pandemic relief funding to businesses and workers than any other state, according to a study by the Center on Budget Relief and Policy Priorities.

More than half of Wisconsin`s federal American Rescue Plan funds, $1.1 billion, went toward economic development initiatives, including $642 million in grants to businesses and $130 million for workforce development.
