![]() The city of Milwaukee for the first time is attempting to take ownership of the former Northridge Mall through the ongoing court dispute with its owner over a 2019 demolition order. In a motion filed in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Tuesday, Milwaukee’s attorneys asked Judge William Sosnay
to transfer ownership of the long-vacant mall to the city. That
transfer would let the city seek funding sources that have “deadlines
for shovels in the ground” in order to tear down the vacant mall
