Three Sheboygan County employers have been granted nearly $765,000 collectively by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development through the Fast Forward Worker Training Program. In all, the $3.8M statewide sum will support 24 employers in order to provide new or increased wages for 1,415 trainees across five high-demand sectors, made possible through partnerships with community organizations, local employers and industry associations. In Sheboygan County, those industries include a $299,220 grant to Masters Gallery Foods which is partnering with Midwest Engineered Systems Inc., Somic Packaging Inc., Quest Industrial LLC, BW Packaging Systems/Hayssen, and Coprodev Plus to provide training to 30 unemployed individuals and 70 incumbent workers.
