SPOONER — The Northwest Regional Planning Commission (NWRPC), which covers 10 counties and five tribal nations in northwestern Wisconsin, has been at a quandary about taking available broadband funding from the state.In January, the commission was made aware of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration making broadband funds available for all Wisconsin counties. The funds are for those interested in coming up with plans for broadband installation through a Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment Program (BEAD) local planning grant.
