Children`s Wisconsin opens new child development center in Wauwatosa


The center will treat children with delays in speech and motor skills and children with learning or behavioral disorders

WAUWATOSA, Wis. — Children`s Wisconsin opened a new Center for Child Development in Wauwatosa on Monday to better care for children with developmental diagnoses.

The new center is relocating and expanding from its current location at the Lilly Center in Brookfield near Lilly Road and North Avenue. It is now located at 1250 N. 113th St., Suite 200, in Wauwatosa.

According to a release from Children`s Wisconsin, the Center for Child Development focuses on treating children with delays in speech, language, motor skills, cognitive disabilities, learning disorders, attention and behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorder and psychological and developmental concerns brought on by exposure to trauma.

The location at the Lilly Center was mainly limited to testing. The new center will provide testing and treatment at the same location.
