Liz Brodek to step down as Wausau development director in July


WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - The City of Wausau development director has announced she will step down from her role.

Liz Brodek will be leaving her position as of Friday, July 5. Wausau Mayor Doug Diny said in a statement on Wednesday that Brodek will be taking a state-level position with the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC).

“We’re immensely grateful for all the contributions Liz has made during her time here, and we hope you’ll take the time to farewell her when you see her,” Mayor Diny stated. “We’ll miss her creativity and passion, but we’re excited for her next steps.”
