JEFFERSON, WIS. — Brewed soy sauce manufacturer Kikkoman has broken ground on a new $560 million production facility in Jefferson. The 240,000-square-foot facility will feature a food and beverage innovation campus to produce its soy sauce and soy sauce seasoning products. Kikkoman said it has been in Wisconsin since 1973, when it first opened Kikkoman Foods, Inc. in Walworth, Wis. The company is investing approximately $800 million toward construction of the Jefferson facility and also toward expanding its Walworth facility, which will create approximately 83 new jobs, according to the company...
