Green Fleet Founder Named Entrepreneur of the Year

You’ve likely seen Green Fleet’s Teslas zipping around the Chippewa Valley as the locally-based luxury EV transport service frequently shuttles folks to the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport. Founded in 2020, the company has expanded greatly in just a few years, and founder Bill Lobner was recognized for this growth with the 2023 Entrepreneur of the Year Award by Momentum West Wisconsin.

Momentum West Wisconsin, a regional economic development organization serving 10 area counties (including Chippewa, Dunn, and Eau Claire) announced Lobner as this year’s winner on June 18.

 “Looking ahead, I want to show the Chippewa Valley, the states of Wisconsin and Minnesota, and the country that EVs are the way forward in the transportation industry. ”
