Western Wisconsin will have Governor Tony Evers’ ear when it comes to workforce investment with Melissa Meschke, Executive Director of the St. Croix Economic Development Corporation, joining the Governor’s Council on Workforce Investment.Council members are charged with joining the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development to devise a strategy that “anticipates employer needs, supports the development of a highly skilled labor force, and empowers individuals to pursue and retain good paying careers.”
