Finalists competing for chance to pitch Silicon Valley investment firms
The Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce recently announced that a Verona company is one of six finalists competing in the 11th annual Pressure Chamber startup initiative later this month.
According to a Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce press release, Pressure Chamber allows emerging companies to pitch in front of national investors and a live audience. The winning company receives the coveted “golden suitcase,” representing a reserved spot in the Chamber’s exclusive Greater Madison startup meetings with top Silicon Valley investment firms this fall.
Among the 2024 Pressure Chamber finalists is emerging Verona company Maize. Maize maps the local food system to show users where their food comes from while giving small food businesses a platform to build community around sustainable practices.
