Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development: Wisconsin employment breaks fourth consecutive month record, jobs reach new record high

MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials in Wisconsin announced that the month of August saw new record highs for jobs and employment throughout the state.

According to a release from the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD), preliminary estimates from the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) say this is the fourth consecutive monthly record for state employment during which time the number of nonfarm jobs throughout the state also reached a new all-time high.
